Do you have a physical office where you get together? Whom can I meet if I need some information?
A.
The club does not have a physical office. The club has been promoted by SPIC and their office address has been used for registration. We hope to eventually have a physical site with club facilities for our members. Presently there are no definite plans on this. The best way to reach is via phone Nidhi @ 2745502, or webmaster@chditclub.org (webmaster). You can register on the website www.chditclub.org and post your queries online via forums.
   

How often do you meet and what kind of events do you hold?

A.

We typically meet once a month at different venues and announced a week before the event. The event is typically on 3 rd Saturday (or 2 nd / 4 th ) and in the evenings. In a year, we target for 1 Large event (Paid and for raising funds), 4 medium events (typically open) and 7 smaller events (member only invites) The events of quite varied and focus on “Serious Fun”, “Informative”, “Raising Funds”. Events in the past have included talks by speaker on Eye Care, Stress, Biotechnology, QA , Corporate cricket matches, BPO event (in April 2004), Dancing, Golf Clinic, Classical Music …

   
What are the membership benefits?
A.
The key benefit is networking and getting to know people in the tri-city area. The membership fees and funds raised are used to hold events which are either free or have nominal charges for members. Non-members pay higher charges. We provide an email id yourname@chditclub.org (with web access, and 1MB storage).
   
Is there corporate membership?
A.
There is no corporate membership or discounted fees. The membership is for individuals and non-transferable. Corporate can pay for the membership fee through the corporate package, but the member card is issued in the name of the individual.
   
Do you have office bearers? and what role can I play?
A.

Yes. Our office bearers that comprise the Exec. Committee for 2005-06 are

What does Student membership provide?
A.
Starting April 2005, we are setting a Students Chapter that will organize events with student interest and promote interaction between the professionals (& industry) and students.
